ROGERS LAUNCHES NEW AD BLASTING “DOCTOR” ABDUL FOR CALLING TO DEFUND BREAST CANCER RESEARCH

DETROIT, MI — Army veteran, former FBI street agent, former House Intelligence Chair, and candidate for U.S. Senate Mike Rogers today launched a new, 30 second ad hitting “Doctor” Abdul El-Sayed on calling to defund breast cancer research. The six-figure buy will run statewide across digital platforms.

One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her life. More than 42,000 are expected to die from it this year alone. As a cancer survivor himself, Mike Rogers will stand with Michigan women.

This launch comes on the heels of Mike Rogers’ ad released Monday about how we will take on Big Pharma, hospitals, and insurers to lower costs. It also follows the release of Mike Rogers’ healthcare plan: Healthcare that Works for Working Families. Mike’s healthcare plan has three pillars focused on affordability, accessibility, and transparency. More specifically, he is fighting to lower prescription drug prices, add requirements to prevent excessive denial rates, and improve transparency on pricing from hospitals and insurance companies.
