AD: MIKE ROGERS WILL TAKE ON BIG PHARMA, MAKE HEALTHCARE MORE AFFORDABLE

DETROIT, MI – Army veteran, former FBI street agent, former House Intelligence Chair, and candidate for U.S. Senate Mike Rogers today launched a new ad, titled “Across the River.” The 30 second ad emphasizes how Mike will take on Big Pharma and ensure we’re not paying four times more for a prescription drug here than in Canada. The seven-figure ad buy will run statewide on TV and digital platforms.

The ad follows the release of Mike Rogers’ healthcare plan: Healthcare that Works for Working Families. Mike’s plan focuses on three pillars: affordability, access, and transparency. More specifically, he is fighting to lower prescription drug prices, add requirements to prevent excessive denial rates, and improve transparency on pricing from hospitals and insurance companies.

Across the Detroit River is Canada.

In Windsor, this hard medication costs about 200 bucks a month.

Here in Michigan, the same prescription for a Michigan family costs $800.

That’s four times what the Canadians pay for the same drug.

The pharmaceutical companies are ripping American families off.

I’ll take on Big Pharma.

I’ll take on insurers.

I’ll take on hospital monopolies.

I have a plan to make your healthcare more affordable.

I’m Mike Rogers, and I approve this message.
