ROGERS TOUTS HEALTHCARE PLAN, EXPOSES ABDUL’S “MEDICARE FOR ALL” SCHEME
DETROIT, MI – Army veteran, former FBI agent, former House Intelligence Committee Chairman, and candidate for U.S. Senate Mike Rogers today promoted his healthcare plan, Healthcare that Works for Working Families, during a press conference in Taylor. He also exposed Conman Abdul for how his “Medicare for All” scheme takes money out of Michiganders’ pockets to line his own family’s.

“I just can’t think of a more important issue to the people of Michigan than healthcare and their rising costs. How do we get to the bottom of this? The way we don’t do it is blow up the system that we have. We fix the system that we have. We have to open [the] books to make sure…when patients show up, they understand what their costs are doing… bringing down prescription drug prices. I think there’s even more that we can do there. And if you pay for care and pay for insurance, you get coverage…We’re going to bring it back to patient and doctor-centered care…
It’s a little suspect to me that this is an interesting trend for Mr. Abdul. The largest campaign contributor to his campaign [his father-in-law], also benefits from Medicare processing in a clinic that he has. So, more Medicare, more money for Abdul’s family for sure. You start peeling this onion back; it starts to look pretty ugly in a hurry…
I’m a cancer survivor… Abdul was, I thought, disparaging to women who suffer [from] breast cancer. He called them privileged in some way, that we would spend this money on breast cancer research. That’s a slap in the face to tens of thousands of Michigan women who get diagnosed with breast cancer every year. I’m starting to believe he lacks the maturity to be a United States Senator.”
