Rogers to Seniors: My Family Counts on Social Security, I’ll Make it Stronger as Senator
Last night in Troy, Mike Rogers hosted a town hall with Michigan seniors to discuss his plans to protect Social Security and Medicare, as well as lowering the cost of living for seniors.
Slotkin is lying because she cannot defend her record of abandoning seniors in Washington. Slotkin voted to restrict access to life saving medications, voted for a bill that could skyrocket Medicare premiums, and joined Biden and Kamala 100% of the time to spend trillions of dollars raising prices for everyone and threatening Social Security’s solvency.
Meanwhile, Mike Rogers helped pass Medicare Part D, guaranteeing prescription drug coverage for seniors, and supports President Trump's plans to eliminate taxes on Social Security, allowing seniors to keep more of their money.

“I was involved in ADDING prescription drugs to Medicare for the very first time. I thought it was nuts that you had an insurance plan that didn’t have drug coverage. I worked to make part D available and it saved literally thousands and thousands of dollars per family…
“There are rumors there is going to be an over 125% increase in premiums next year. Who does that help? That doesn’t serve the people in my family. My argument was we should do the average sale price for prescription drugs with the top industrialized nations. For example Ozempic, France is charging $80, in the U.S. they are charging $800. We should average those together and think what that does to our prices... The Democrats plan is to throw a ton of money at it. That never works.”
