ROGERS STATEMENT ON VP VANCE IN MICHIGAN
“This is the beginning of a Michigan revival.”
WHITE LAKE, MI — Army veteran, businessman, and Trump-endorsed candidate for U.S. Senate Mike Rogers today released the following statement on Vice President JD Vance’s visit in Auburn Hills, Michigan:
“This is the beginning of a Michigan revival. As Vice President Vance showcased today, this Administration is laser focused on fixing everything the Democrats broke in our state–from reshoring the tens of thousands manufacturing jobs the Democrats lost to bringing down housing costs and ending the crime that ran rampant thanks to the Left’s soft-on-crime policies. The America First agenda is about putting workers and families first. With the President’s leadership, Michiganders are saving big on tax cuts like no tax on overtime and adding jobs as business reshores through tariffs. And they’re just getting started. The futures of our state and country are on the line. We need to send President Trump and VP Vance some back up to continue putting Michigan First. I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work.”
The Vice President’s visit comes on the heels of the announcement that President Trump granted Mike Rogers’s request for disaster aid in northern Michigan after a historic ice storm wreaked havoc on the state. Mike Rogers is already working with President Trump to deliver for Michigan, and this is only one of many wins to come.
