ROGERS ON ABDUL EL-SAYED: I KNOW A CONMAN WHEN I SEE ONE

DETROIT, MI — Army veteran, businessman, and Trump-endorsed candidate for U.S. Senate Mike Rogers today took the stage at the Michigan GOP State Convention in Mount Pleasant, where he contrasted his vision of prosperity for our state and country with the lies, extremism, and division from Abdul El-Sayed. As a former FBI Street Agent, Mike Rogers said of Abdul, “I know a conman when I see one.”

“The contrast between your choices for United States Senator could not be more clear. I’m a former FBI agent. I busted crooks, the mob, drug dealers, murderers, human traffickers, and terrorists. And I know a conman when I see one. Conman Abdul El-Sayed wants to abolish: ICE, Voter ID, cash bail, gas-powered cars, private health insurance for UAW members, police funding, prisons, and the Second Amendment. Come November… he’s going to wish they abolished Election Day.”

“Just like a typical conman, Abdul uses threats and violence to try and intimidate the people he is conning. This is serious: words matter. And while Abdul and his running mate Hasan Piker continue to make public calls for violence against those that disagree with them, Michiganders are being caught in the crossfire. 

Abdul and Hasan’s violent rhetoric has real implications. Like the young Jewish girl who attends the University of Michigan that I spoke with. She told me how because of the rise in antisemitism and violence against Jews that she is afraid to walk on campus from her dorm room to class. 

She should be having the time of her life and making memories that last a lifetime. Instead, she tells me with tears in her eyes, how she hides her Star of David necklace so that violent antisemites on campus don’t see it and harass her — or worse.”

“Just like a typical conman, Abdul El-Sayed says one thing, but lives another. He says he wants Medicare for All, but his healthcare policies are so extreme, not even his wife will accept them. She has a mental health practice that doesn’t accept any form of insurance AT ALL. But that’s ok… because that just means more money in the conman’s pocket. Conman Abdul’s push for Medicare for All would see your taxes raised 4 times. 

And how will that money be spent? He says his Medicare for All scheme will include illegal immigrants, and force YOU to pay for gender transition surgeries on children. Abdul wants the same people who run the DMV to run your healthcare. It will take away your doctor, take away your health insurance, permanently close rural hospitals and cause weeks and weeks of wait times when you’re sick. The truth is: Medicare for All really means healthcare for none.”

Abdul rails against capitalism while enjoying wealth himself — including luxury properties in Dubai. And he takes money from the very left-wing interests he claims to oppose: Billionaire foundations, millionaire endowments, media corporations, even corporations he created himself.

One set of rules for you. Another set for Abdul. The only job Abdul ever created was paying people to delete his tweets and podcasts.

Bottom line: Abdul wants money FROM George Soros, more money FOR the government, and hospital waiting rooms FOR ALL.
