MIKE ROGERS’ RESPONSE TO ABDUL EL-SAYED’S MOST RECENT SHAM STATEMENT ON HIS OWN CAMPAIGN SPOKESPERSON
DETROIT, MI — Mike Rogers today released the following statement on Abdul El-Sayed’s running mate’s direct attack on Michigan State Senator Jeremy Moss for being Jewish:
“Hasan Piker’s call for violence against the Jewish Community, specifically against Jeremy Moss, must be condemned by every single Michigan Democrat.
But Conman Abdul El-Sayed doesn’t have the guts to disavow his running mate.
Abdul’s attempt at distancing himself from this violent and hateful rhetoric now that he and Hasan won the primary is the epitome of what a conman does — says one thing when it serves him and another when it doesn’t.
His rhetoric is causing fear in Michigan communities, is unAmerican, and makes him unfit to represent our state.”
Abdul El-Sayed’s sham statement on these disgusting remarks is no surprise, as he has also invoked violent rhetoric and excused acts of terror. Since his campaign’s launch he has:
Threatened that Mike Rogers is “not going to have safe quarter” throughout the election.
Asserted he would “take [Republicans] to the mud and we choke them out.”
Called for a sitting U.S. Senator to be “an ogre on a pike.”
Sympathized with the terrorists who attempted to blow up 140 Jewish kids at Temple Israel by saying “Hurt people, hurt people.”
Blamed Americans for inspiring terrorism.
