MIKE ROGERS ON FOX: I’VE NEVER SEEN A BIGGER HYPOCRITE IN MY LIFE

DETROIT, MI – Army veteran, former FBI street agent, former House Intelligence Chair, and candidate for U.S. Senate Mike Rogers today joined Martha MacCallum on Fox News’ The Story to call out Conman Abdul El-Sayed’s hypocrisy and alienation of Democrat voters.

WATCH THE FULL INTERVIEW HERE.

On Abdul El-Sayed’s Hypocrisy:

“I’ve never seen a bigger hypocrite in my life who has been raising [money] on the West Coast from billionaires and hedge fund managers [and] with AOC in New York City, raising tons of money. He has corporate money coming in through the Chuck Schumer PAC. I mean, it's just nonsense. He says this to try to present someone he’s not…

And it’s why we have Democrats coming to our campaign in droves. Democrats for Rogers is our fastest-growing coalition. We can't keep Democrats for Rogers signs on our shelves. I think we're up to our third new order because people understand he's [Abdul] too extreme. When you have Van Jones coming out and saying his policies are ‘insane’ or Cory Booker coming out and saying ‘Hey, he's a fringe candidate’ you start to get the sense of who he is…Unfortunately, he's been doing everything he says he isn't doing.”

On Abdul’s Ties to the Muslim Brotherhood:

“What we're doing is making sure that we're talking to real people all over the state. Jewish Democrats for Rogers is alive and well. He has constantly given tropes and aggressive language. He's dangerous. You know, we talked to two young women on a campus the other day who have to hide their Star of David to walk across campus because they get harassed. That's a direct result of not being able to condemn a terrorist attack right here in our state, where a terrorist tried to kill 140 schoolchildren.

Not being able to condemn the IRGC, which has American blood on its hands. Not being able to condemn Hamas or Hezbollah. Why? Because his campaign is funded by people who fund the Muslim Brotherhood. Think of that. This guy is dangerous. You can't send that guy back to the United States Senate knowing that he is getting funded by the Muslim Brotherhood. I just think this is really, really concerning, and people here in the state get it.”

On Iran:

“First of all, we have decimated the nuclear program. Kudos to the United States military. I served as an Army officer [and] our son is a naval officer. We have decimated [Iran’s] Army, its Navy, its Air Force — which are all of the objectives that the President laid out for this. My argument is start wrapping it up. We can't be there without an end date or an end to the regime. I think the President needs to come out and make sure which is which. But if we're not doing that, we need to start wrapping it down.

Looks like oil prices are coming down. That's going to be huge for Michigan citizens. We're paying a heavy price, which is why I came out and called for a tax holiday for our residents [that] would have been 70 cents a gallon. The Democrats in Michigan here voted against it. We're trying to call for a diesel export ban — which [it] looks like the President's kind of got ahead on that with red dye that will help agriculture here in the state. That's really important. Bring down prices. But I do think it's time to start wrapping it up. There are other things that we can do other than the big military presence, and I think that we ought to shift gears and bring all that home and put us into an end state.”

On Gas Prices:

“People are hurting because of these high gas prices. We're a peninsula state, so fuel's got to get here because it wants to get here. It's not passing through, so we're going to pay a little bit more. That price has to start coming down. If it happens after or before the election, it shouldn't be an election decision. It should be a people decision. People are hurting. Our farmers are hurting. September and October are big harvest months here in Michigan. I've talked to lots and lots of farmers — by the way, who are all endorsing me — about what creative things we can do to put pressure on those diesel prices. And I think the President's doing it. My call for a diesel rebate to agriculture, I think, would be a good idea when I get to the United States Senate to help make them whole. And so we're trying to do things to fix it while the President's trying to bring this thing to an end. And I think that's the right approach to do this.”

On Building Winning Coalitions:

“First of all, [we] didn't have a primary. That's been a huge advantage. We started early, going door to door, getting people educated on the race and the importance of the race. We’ve crossed 3 million doors. That's never happened in Michigan before. Number one.

Number two. We have Jewish Democrats for Rogers. [It] is huge, and it's growing by the day. And remember: Abdul's angry, divisive language is not only ticking off our Jewish community, it's isolating them. It's very divisive. They're worried about their children growing up in a place that their children won’t feel safe exhibiting that they're Jewish anywhere in open community. That's just wrong. It's anti-American. We're going to beat them just on that.

But we have African Americans across this state in a huge way coming on board. There's a reason that he brought Kamala Harris on after he attacked her with viciousness. There's a reason he's bringing in Barack Obama after saying he was ineffective for progressives. I mean, this guy has attacked everybody. But boy, when he needs it, he's calling all the friends he can try to find to muster up. The reason they're doing that, Martha, is because we're making such big, important inroads to the African American community, especially in Detroit.”
