MIKE ROGERS ON FOX: ABDUL EL-SAYED HAD A NO GOOD, VERY BAD WEEK

DETROIT, MI – Army veteran, former FBI street agent, former House Intelligence Chair, and candidate for U.S. Senate Mike Rogers today joined Sean Hannity on Fox News’ Hannity to highlight Abdul El-Sayed’s failure to earn support of his own party…

WATCH THE FULL INTERVIEW HERE

ON ABDUL EL-SAYED’S NO GOOD, VERY BAD WEEK:

He's had a really rough few days here. We had a Democrat sheriff in Saginaw County come out and say, “this guy's record for defunding the police and closing prisons and making my town more dangerous. I can't do it. I'm supporting Mike Rogers.” Two prominent Jewish Democrats here in the state, both in elected positions, said, “we're not voting for Abdul. We can't do it.” The firefighters, Michigan firefighters, who originally came out and said, "Hey, we're going to go with Abdul El Sayed because Chuck Schumer told him to do it.” Guess what? That's been reversed. Not by us. It's been by the membership of that Union. They came out and said, "No way in heck are we supporting a guy who won't support first responders, won't support police.”

He's having a rough week, and all of the things that he is trying to stick together with tape here are coming apart. But it's his own language; he has to own these consequences. The more Michiganders know, the more they don't like him. That's how we're attracting Democrats as well.

ON ABDUL EL-SAYED GETTING RICH OFF OF MICHIGANDERS:

The taxpayers of Wayne County [pay Abdul’s contract]. He got a very lucrative deal – $9,000 bucks a month – to run for the Senate after he left Wayne County.

So, these are the kinds of things you're going to get from a guy who's a fake doctor, who cooked himself up a government secret deal to get $9,000 a month to run for the United States Senate. This is exactly what Michigan families are honked off about: is their taxpayer money being abused just like this?

ON ABDUL EL-SAYED’S DISQUALIFYING INSULTS TO CANCER PATIENTS:

He’s come out and said you're of social privilege for women if [you] get breast cancer, which to me is disqualifying. This is a guy who is a fake doctor. Remember, he's not a physician. He doesn't have a license to practice medicine. He's never had a license to practice medicine.

ON CONMAN ABDUL EL-SAYED’S LIES:

He has a problem with the truth. He went on TV and said, “oh, I only brought [Hasan Piker] here once.” Not true. [Hasan Piker] has been here for five different events. [Abdul El-Sayed] invited Hasan Piker to go to our students to pitch this anti-American vileness. They're trying to create these cesspools of anti-Americanism on our college campuses. It's shameful. Hasan Piker said, “[Abdul] begged me to come into Michigan,” when Abdul tried to say he's just a streamer from California. This guy has a hard time with the truth. He's a true con man. He wants you to believe something that just quite isn't true.

ON WINNING IN NOVEMBER:

I am confident. As long as we continue to get the resources to tell the people who he is and what we want to do for the state, Sean, you're going to announce a win, and I hope you have a big grin on your face when you do.
