YIKES: Slotkin Admits Kamala is Underwater in Michigan
In case you missed it, in a rare fashion, Slotkin finally told the truth. During a recent donor call, Slotkin warned her supporters that Kamala is “underwater” in her campaign’s internal polling.
What it means: Slotkin is feeling the pressure as Mike Rogers continues to garner momentum.
TODAY, conservative groups announced a massive influx of support for Mike Rogers, including over $25 million in new television ads to set the record straight about Slotkin’s failures and help flip Michigan red in November.
THE PAST MONTH, Rogers has seen a bump in polling revealing that he and Slotkin are TIED, received an endorsement from The Detroit News, a ‘pretty damn significant’ from Michigan Farm Bureau’s AgriPac, and an ad blitz (see here, here, and here).
YIKES: Slotkin’s September in Review
GOTION FLIP FLOP: Slotkin, who signed a non-disclosure agreement involved in luring CCP-backed Gotion to Michigan, completely flipped her position and now is pretending she is opposed to the CCP-backed battery plant.
VOTED FOR A PRO-CHINA EV BILL: Slotkin voted against the bipartisan ‘End Chinese Dominance of Electric Vehicles in America Act of 2024.’ The bill would limit U.S. tax credits from going to EVs that are produced with parts from China.
SILENT ON ANTISEMITISM: Last week, Slotkin refused to address the rampant antisemitism on Michigan’s college campuses, and only after being called out did she passingly mention a student who was beaten for being Jewish.
SLOTKIN SPURNED: For the first time since 2006 Michigan Farm Bureau’s AgriPac endorsed a Republican candidate for this Senate seat, showing Mike Rogers is the clear choice for Michigan farmers.
SLOTKIN SPURNED AGAIN: The Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce refused to endorse Slotkin, despite decades of history supporting the Democrat nominee for U.S. Senate.
