ROGERS SLAMS SLOTKIN AND DEMOCRATS ON CALLING FOR MILITARY INSUBORDINATION

WHITE LAKE, MI — Army veteran, businessman, and Trump-endorsed Candidate for U.S. Senate Mike Rogers today responded to Michigan Senator Elissa Slotkin’s reckless calls for military insubordination, despite admitting on ABC news that she is “not aware” of any illegal Trump orders.

“Senate Democrats got caught red-handed. Their broad, partisan effort to stir confusion in our military is dangerous, irresponsible, and threatens the safety of our servicemembers and country,” said Rogers. “We need leaders who will respect our military, not undermine it. Slotkin and Senate Democrats owe our servicemembers and their families an apology.”

The statement follows a video Mike Rogers released on Friday with ten Michigan veterans, condemning Slotkin and Senate Democrats’ calls for insubordination.

Mike echoed those sentiments on Breitbart’s Saturday radio show with Matthew Boyle, where he emphasized how Slotkin and the Democrats campaign as moderates but govern as radicals:

  • “[...]Senator Slotkin is running around saying this is how you get elected. It’s not how you govern; it’s how you get elected. You tell them that you’re a national security hawk, that you’re a moderate, that you’re going to work with Donald Trump–all of those things happened in the last election cycle. None of them have happened once she took the oath of office.”

  • “[...]As a military guy myself, you can understand how that just encourages insubordination. Now, does every sergeant get to question their commanding officer? Does every private get to question their platoon sergeant? That is the material breakdown of the United States military and what makes us, really, the finest fighting force in the world.”

He also joined Justin Barclay on WOOD Radio to emphasize the danger this poses to our military and country:

  • […] “This is encouraging insubordination at the very least. It’s dangerous. It’s reckless.”

  • […] “When you get this kind of confusion injected in the United States military, which, by the way, puts soldiers at risk, and marines, and sailors, and airmen all over the world, their families, I think it jeopardizes the security of the United States.”

  • […] “I think this is one of the worst things I’ve seen in a very long time—by a group of people who should know better.”
