Rogers Rallies with Sen. Graham and Republican Jewish Coalition

Yesterday, Mike Rogers and U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham attended an event hosted by the Republican Jewish Coalition in Oakland County. Rogers and Graham stressed the importance of supporting Israel, America’s strongest ally in the Middle East, combating the rise of antisemitism, and Slotkin’s weakness on Iran.

Lindsey Graham: Glad to be with my friends at the @RJC in Oakland County, Michigan tonight. The Michigan Jewish community is fired up to elect @MikeRogersForMI and @realDonaldTrump in 8 days! Mike will join President @realDonaldTrump in being a strong voice for Israel in our nation’s capital, and help bring peace to the world.

The Detroit News: Sen. Lindsey Graham rallies Jewish support for Mike Rogers in Michigan

Sen. Lindsey Graham called for increased U.S. support of Israel and proactive measures to quash antisemitism on college campuses while rallying Jewish support for Mike Rogers' senatorial bid on Monday.

Graham said the best way to bring peace to the Middle East is for the U.S. "to be strong for Israel because the Arabs respect that." Rogers attributed the rise in antisemitic attacks in the U.S. not to Israel's punishing campaigns, but to an organized campaign to misinform young Americans, especially college students.

"They are pumping information through the internet to these kids," he said. He said internet search results are altered based on location, specifically on college campus, to show pro-Palestinian propaganda. "It steers them down a rabbit hole and by the time you're done, you think every Jew in America is the worst person ever," Rogers said.

"This is also the time to draw some very bright lines around our support for Israel against what we know are 350 million people who want to push them into the sea," Rogers said.

RJC: HAPPENING NOW: RJC hosts the next US Senator from Michigan, Mike Rogers, and Senator Lindsey Graham for a critical conversation with the Michigan Jewish community in a PACKED room in Oakland County. 8 days til victory!

Jewish Insider: Rogers looks to assure Jewish voters that Arab, Muslim outreach won’t compromise support for Israel

Speaking to Jewish voters in Michigan on Monday evening, former Rep. Mike Rogers (R-MI), the Republican Senate candidate in Michigan, made his closing pitch to the potentially decisive voting bloc, and sought to assure attendees that his outreach to Michigan’s sizable Muslim and Arab population doesn’t mean he’s compromising his support for Israel.

Rogers, the former chairman of the House Intelligence Committee and a former FBI agent, said that the current multi-front assault against Israel is “the existential threat that we all wondered about for many, many years.”

He took a swipe at Slotkin’s support for the Iran nuclear deal, claiming the Obama administration had dismantled long-gestating operations and programs that could have undermined Iran’s nuclear program out of fear of disrupting negotiations.

“I was aghast,” Rogers said, alluding to still-classified programs. “I’ve never seen anything like it.”
