ROGERS CALLS OUT ABDUL EL-SAYED FOR DISPARAGING 9/11
DETROIT, MI – Army veteran, former FBI agent, former House Intelligence Committee Chairman, and candidate for U.S. Senate Mike Rogers today called out his anti-American opponent Abdul El-Sayed for his plan to join two 9/11 conspiracy theorists on a panel this upcoming weekend.
“Twenty-five years after the greatest tragedy in American history, Abdul El-Sayed is caught once again cozying up to sick pundits who peddle conspiracy theories about 9/11,” said Mike Rogers. “Abdul El-Sayed’s appearance with Cenk Uygur and Zaid Shakir is a disgrace and an insult to every single American, but it’s no surprise considering how anti-America he’s been all along.”
The Washington Free Beacon first reported that Abdul will join Cenk Uygur and Zaid Shakir to examine a “turmoiled America” at the Islamic Society of North America’s annual convention on Saturday, September 5th, just 6 days before the 25th anniversary of 9/11. This event comes as all three panelists have repeatedly downplayed the 9/11 attacks:
Cenk Uygur, a left-wing online pundit, is the uncle of Abdul El-Sayed’s running mate, Hasan Piker, who said “America deserved 9/11.”
Cenk Uygur peddled the conspiracies, claiming “I no longer believe [the] official 9/11 story.”
Zaid Shakir called for an “examination” into the “glaring weaknesses and inconsistencies” of the attacks, claiming the United States used the attacks to launch a war on Islam.
Last week, Abdul El-Sayed’s old tweets were uncovered, wherein he mourned the lives of those lost in the Middle East as a result of 9/11 and compared 9/11 to the coronavirus pandemic.
Abdul El-Sayed has refused to condemn Hasan Piker who has repeatedly said he “hates” America.
