MIKE ROGERS OPENS NEW CAMPAIGN OFFICE IN THE HEART OF DETROIT

DETROIT, MI – Army veteran, former FBI agent, former House Intelligence Committee Chairman, and candidate for U.S. Senate Mike Rogers today opened a new campaign office at the corner of 7 Mile Road and Livernois, in the heart of Detroit. He was joined by nearly 100 volunteers and campaign supporters to emphasize his commitment to revitalizing communities that Democrats have left behind.

“We decided to open this office because we said, ‘Listen, we're going to be in Detroit,” said Mike Rogers. “And we're going to be in Detroit after we win… For all of those things we just talked about, I do passionately believe [that] if we do this together, we're going to get it done. It does mean that we're going to have to try something new in Detroit this time. And I do believe if someone who disrespects a community as publicly as maybe my opponent has, this is a chance to show them that we don't have to take that. Votes are not guaranteed. This is the chance to say we're going to do something new to try to revitalize our community, and we're going to do it together.”
