SOUTHEASTERN MICHIGAN ASSOCIATION OF CHIEFS OF POLICE ENDORSES MIKE ROGERS FOR U.S. SENATE

January 5, 2024

Michigan Law Enforcement continues to coalesce around Mike Rogers as The Law & Order Candidate

BRIGHTON, MI — Republican candidate for Senate and former FBI Special Agent, Mike Rogers, received the endorsement of the Southeastern Michigan Association of Chiefs of Police, solidifying his position as the conservative Law & Order candidate.

The association, comprised of current and former Chiefs of Police from throughout Southeastern Michigan, works to improve law enforcement through community involvement, recruitment, training, and setting professional standards and good policing practices.

Southeastern Michigan Association of Chiefs of Police President Brian Bassett:

“From standing shoulder to shoulder with our law enforcement colleagues while he was in the FBI, to delivering the tools and resources required to help us keep Michigan safe while in Congress, Mike Rogers has been a longtime friend of law enforcement. Mike’s understanding of the challenges we face, from drugs, mental health, and violent crime, and his experience serving in uniform make him uniquely qualified to be our next U.S. Senator. The Southeastern Michigan Association of Chiefs of Police is proud and honored to endorse Mike Rogers as we know he will continue to be a vital partner in the Senate.”

This significant law enforcement endorsement comes on the heels of 24 Michigan County Sheriffs endorsing Rogers in December, as well as the major endorsement Rogers received from the Police Officers Association of Michigan.
