THE DETROIT NEWS ENDORSES MIKE ROGERS FOR U.S. SENATE
DETROIT, MI – The Detroit News today endorsed Mike Rogers to represent Michigan in the U.S. Senate. They cited his extensive experience as an Army officer, FBI special agent, and former U.S. House Intel Chair, calling him “the prototype of a United States Senator.” They go on to say, “He is mature, trustworthy and more than prepared. Rogers’ experience, clear-thinking, and temperament, are bound to quickly vault him into the Senate’s leadership ranks.”
The Detroit News also called out Conman Abdul El-Sayed’s extreme views and alarming record saying, “He has worked so hard covering his tracks leading up to this Senate race that it's impossible to know who he really is or where he would stand in the Senate.” They raised further concern with his deleted tweets; campaigning with Hasan Piker, who said “America deserved 9/11;” and animosity toward the Jewish community.
“Mike is grateful for the support as we continue the fight to fix our broken education system, lower housing costs, and bring back manufacturing jobs. Michiganders deserve solutions, not slogans — and that’s exactly what Mike will bring to the U.S. Senate. We have a state to save.”
