Statement on Iran’s Attacks Against Israel

As you cover Iran’s attacks against Israel, please consider the following statement from Republican candidate for U.S. Senate, Mike Rogers:

“Iran has been the cause of all of the expanding violence throughout the Middle East. Whether it’s terror attacks by proxies Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and other proxies who’ve attacked U.S. forces stationed in the region more than 200 times since October 7th and still hold American hostages. Iran is directing and funding every action. 

“Today, Iran launched hundreds of ballistic missiles directed at Israeli civilian targets. Iran brought this war directly to Israel and should suffer the consequences of their actions. Israel has led the effort to dismantle Iran’s terror network since October 7th, and now will likely respond to another direct attack on their nation. America must stand strong with our ally and support that vital effort, and this administration must not continue to try and handcuff Israel as they defend their people. Appeasement of Iran must end. I stand with Israel.”
