Sandy Pensler Endorses Mike Rogers

Republican U.S. Senate candidate Sandy Pensler announced that he is suspending his campaign and endorsing Army veteran, former Congressman, and Trump-endorsed conservative Mike Rogers.

Pensler has a long track record of success, helping turn around struggling businesses so they can succeed, starting businesses that have created jobs right here in Michigan, and has been a leader in Republican politics for decades.

Businessman Sandy Pensler

“My campaign was always about making America better. The best way to do that is to enact President Trump's policies. To do that, we need control of the Senate, a divisive continued primary effort hurts the chances of that, and that's not OK. So tonight I’m doing the right thing and ceasing my Senate candidacy. It's the right thing. President Trump endorsed Mike Rogers. Tonight, so am I. Mike's going to make a heck of a senator."

U.S. Senate Candidate Mike Rogers:

"This is a tremendous moment of unity and I'm grateful for Sandy Pensler's endorsement and support of our effort to Get America Back on Track. We must be united to defeat the Democrats in November and stop the wasteful spending that's crushing Michigan families and driving up costs for gas and finally secure our wide open southern border."

This endorsement follows other high profile endorsements for Mike Rogers, including President Donald J. Trump, former Detroit Police Chief James Craig, Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Michigan Congressional Members Jack Bergman, Lisa McClain, John Moolenaar, and Tim Walberg, former Michigan Congresswoman Candice Miller, NRSC Chairman Steve Daines, and U.S. Senators John Barrasso, Katie Britt, Tom Cotton, Shelley Moore Capito, Joni Ernst, John N. Kennedy, and Tim Scott.
