Rogers to Laura Ingraham: EV Mandates are a ‘Nightmare’
Last night, Mike Rogers joined Fox News‘ Laura Ingraham to discuss the Democrats’ big EV lie and how EV mandates will gut the Michigan auto industry.
Slotkin, just like Kamala, claims to be against EV mandates on the campaign trail BUT when they go to Washington they change their tune. Slotkin voted to let the EPA and liberal states ban gas powered vehicles THREE. TIMES. On September 14, 2023, December 6, 2023, and just last month on September 20, 2024.
On Slotkin and Kamala’s big EV lie…
“You can drive any car you want under the Democrats as long as it’s an electric car. What they’ve done is just backward regulation to make sure that you will not have the option to buy a gas powered car. What’s interesting about this Laura is that 5,000 auto dealers from across the country in an act of desperation wrote an open letter to the Biden-Harris administration with, of course, the support from my opponent 100% of the time. And said, ‘These are mandates and you are ruining our business. We cannot take it, we have cars we cannot sell and you can’t give these things away for a whole host of reasons.’ Markets work, mandates don’t… Stellantis 2,400 layoffs, General Motors 1,000, Ford lost $5 billion in their EV unit. This thing is an absolute nightmare that’s why Democrats are acting like Republicans.”
On Blue Collar workers voting Republican…
“The good news, I was in a factory today. They know this will kill their job prospects and their future employment prospects. People were saying, ‘I don't know if I'm a Republican or not but I'm voting for Trump and I’m certainly voting for you in this next election.’”
