ROGERS TALKS RESTORING THE AMERICAN DREAM, ENCOURAGES EARLY VOTING
DETROIT, MI — Army veteran, former FBI street agent, former House Intelligence Chair, and candidate for U.S. Senate Mike Rogers today hosted a press conference emphasizing how he will restore the American Dream in Michigan. He also encouraged absentee and early voting, which starts tomorrow. Mike was joined by members of the Albanian and Chaldean communities, who came to America to pursue the freedom and opportunity our nation offers.

“This really is about the America we want next. What country are we going to give our kids?... Something happened in that primary. Somebody got elected who really doesn't believe in the fundamental greatness of America. He has spent a lot of time talking about anti-American ideas. He wants this next generation of Americans to give up on the idea that someone can come here from a really tough environment and actually make it…He believes that if you want the American dream, you should move to Canada.
The American dream is on the ballot. We have to decide. You want to give your family divisiveness and anger and separation. Or, do you want to give them that promise of America that I grew up with, and that these fine folks who immigrated to this country came here and said, ‘I'm going to make it because I believe in the American dream.’”
