ROGERS TALKS NATIONAL SECURITY AT SOUTHERN BORDER
Working Families Tax Cuts “invest in historic and transformational border security”
WHITE LAKE, MI — Army veteran, former FBI street agent, and Trump-endorsed candidate for U.S. Senate Mike Rogers today toured the southern border and spoke at a press conference where he emphasized how President Trump's Working Families Tax Cuts strengthen national security.
“President Trump’s Working Families Tax Cuts not only keep more money in Michiganders’ pockets but invest in historic and transformational border security. For years, Biden’s border invasion wreaked havoc across our country, allowing deadly drugs, violent criminals, an explosion of human trafficking, and cartels–including those conspiring with countries like Venezuela–to flood into the United States,” said Rogers. “But since President Trump shut the invasion down at lightning speed, murders and overdoses have plummeted. I will work with President Trump and Leader Thune in the Senate to build on this success and continue making America safer.”
Additional speakers at the press conference included:
Sen. John Thune
Sen. Ashley Moody
Sen. John Barrasso
Sen. John Cornyn
Sen. Jon Husted
Sen. Mike Rounds
Michael Whatley
Sen. Pete Ricketts
National Border Patrol Council Members
Mike Rogers served as House Intelligence Chair during the Bin Laden raid. He also worked as a street agent in the FBI, where he built a career busting drug cartels and gangsters.
The Michigan Senate race is widely considered the Senate GOP’s number one pickup opportunity this cycle. From leading in the polls, to building the largest campaign warchest of any candidate in the race, launching a historic groundgame operation, and securing President Trump’s “complete and total” endorsement, Mike Rogers continues to prove that he is dominating the field and best positioned to win Michigan’s open senate seat.
