ROGERS STATEMENT ON THE ANNIVERSARY OF OCTOBER 7

WHITE LAKE – Army veteran, businessman, and Trump-endorsed candidate for U.S. Senate Mike Rogers today released the following statement on the anniversary of October 7:

“Two years ago today, nearly 1,200 people were killed by Hamas terrorists in the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust. These were sons and daughters, moms and dads, grandparents and neighbors, who should still be alive today. We continue to feel the pain of their losses and mourn with their families, including the families of the hostages who’ve spent every day since praying and hoping that their loved one will come home.

“Today is a sobering reminder that we must remain vigilant against terrorism and its blatant disregard for life. We must also continue working toward lasting peace, to safely return the hostages taken on that evil day, and to root out the antisemitic hate that has surged since. When we say ‘never again,’ we must mean it.”
