Rogers Rallies Statewide Support with Campaign Kickoff Tour
WHITE LAKE, MI – Mike Rogers today announced a successful first two weeks of his campaign kickoff tour that rallied support across the state. Rogers launched the tour in Macomb County with his campaign announcement on April 14. From there, he has met with Michiganders at four more events around the state to discuss the issues they care about most. He will continue to visit every corner of the state throughout the course of his campaign.
“Our team is energized by the outpouring of support we received across the state on our campaign kickoff tour,” said Rogers. “We were excited to see so many of the friends who have supported us for years, as well as many new faces who are fired up to flip this Senate seat. Team Rogers is growing fast. And with the grit and dedication of our supporters across the state, that momentum is only building. Michigan, let’s get to work!”
The kickoff tour included the following stops:
MACOMB COUNTY
Rogers hosted his campaign launch with a room full of supporters at Aspen Restaurant in Macomb. There’s no energy like Macomb County energy!
Macomb County GOP Chair Gus Ghanam attended the event and expressed his support for Mike Rogers:
“Mike Rogers ran incredibly strong here in Macomb in 2024, and I have no doubt his campaign for Senate will help the Republican ticket win again in 2026,” said Ghanam. “Mike’s focus on a grassroots campaign, launching right here in Macomb County, is critical to uniting our party and bringing the victory we are all working toward.”
MIDLAND COUNTY
Rogers hosted a meet and greet with a packed room of supporters at Duel Bar in Midland. These folks are ready to send President Trump some back up in the Senate!
KENT COUNTY
Rogers’s next stop was at Brann’s Steakhouse & Grille in Grand Rapids for a meet and greet, and Team Rogers showed up big time!
Rogers visited with friends in Portage for a cup of coffee and even better conversation. This team is ready to get to work and flip the seat!
Kelly Sackett, the Kalamazoo County GOP Chair, attended the event and shared her support for Mike Rogers:
“Everyone at our Kalamazoo event was on the same page: it’s time for a change,” said Sackett. “Mike Rogers is fired up and already working hard to win this seat. Unlike Democrat leaders who’ve failed us for decades, Mike will always put the needs of Michiganders first and support President Trump’s America First agenda. We have his back all the way.”
Rogers spoke at the Lapeer County GOP Lincoln Day Dinner, and this crowd is pumped for leadership who will put America–and Michigan–First!
