ROGERS ON FOX: ABDUL EL-SAYED HAS FLIP-FLOPPED ON EVERY ISSUE EXCEPT HIS SUPPORT FOR TERRORIST ORGANIZATIONS

DETROIT, MI – Army veteran, former FBI street agent, former House Intelligence Chair, and candidate for U.S. Senate Mike Rogers today joined Harris Faulkner on Fox News’ Faulkner Focus to call out Abdul El-Sayed’s dangerous relationship with terrorist organizations.

WATCH THE FULL INTERVIEW HERE.

On Abdul El-Sayed’s Relationship with the Muslim Brotherhood:

“[Abdul El-Sayed] just lied again to Michiganders. He just looked right in the camera and said [he had] no relation, no interest in the Muslim Brotherhood. An organization that supports the Muslim Brotherhood is one of his major funders, number one. He wrote an op-ed in Arabic a few years back supporting the Muslim Brotherhood. This guy cannot tell the truth on this, and that's why I think he's in a little trouble today.

Hamas is a direct descendant of the Muslim Brotherhood. It's a terrorist organization. It is a Sharia law-based organization that wants to export its ideology. And it's not about faith. It's not about how people pray. It's about that ideology. It's about how they think. That's why it is now illegal in Egypt. It's illegal in the UAE. Two states in the United States are saying that Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR, the organization that we're talking about [that] funds them and is now funding Abdul El-Sayed, is also listed as a terrorist organization. This is why it's so dangerous. If that is your ideology…if this is kind of a family business for you, and you actively can't deny the Muslim Brotherhood, won't denounce the Muslim Brotherhood, won't denounce Hamas, and now you want to go to the United States Senate and serve on committees where people's lives are at stake with the information that some of these members get. That's what's so concerning about this, Harris.”

On Conman Abdul El-Sayed’s Medicare for All Lie:

“Here's the thing about Medicare for All. When people say they want Medicare for All, they believe they keep their healthcare and somebody else gets Medicare. When people find out that you lose your private health insurance and you turn it over to the government, the polling on that just absolutely falls through the floor. Healthcare is a problem. We need to do something about it. We've got a plan to do something about it and make it cheaper, maintain the quality that you expect, and protect Medicare for seniors who have paid their whole life to get Medicare. Now, Abdul wants to blow that up for them. So, we feel pretty comfortable when people understand what Medicare for All is—not free and you lose your doctor. Oh, and you lose your private health insurance. People aren't for it.”

On Abdul’s Healthcare Lies:

“Remember, Harris: we have 5 million Michigan citizens who have pretty good health care [because] we're a collective bargaining state. They're doing pretty well. They lose that health care [with Medicare for All]. Our UAW for Rogers group is our fastest growing group because they understand they're going to lose their healthcare if Abdul gets into the United States Senate. Everybody kind of thought that you get Medicare for All [and] I get to keep my health insurance. That's just not the way it works. They take it from anybody. And, oh by the way, get in the back of the line for healthcare that isn't as good. You don't get to pick your doctor; the government does….Do you really want the government to make those kinds of decisions for you? I sure don't, and I don't think Michiganders do either.”

On Abdul’s Dangerous Ideology:

“I think this is his ideology. I mean, he's flip flopped on almost everything. You brought that up in the early conversation. He's changed as much as he can to try to get your vote. He's [flip-flopping] except for one thing: his support for the Muslim Brotherhood, his support for the Ayatollah Khomeini, his support for Muslim regimes that really are not friendly to the United States. Odd to me that that's the only thing he hasn't changed along his path here. That tells you why we should be concerned about this. You can't have somebody who believes that the Muslim Brotherhood is a good organization, that the Iran regime and the IRGC are okay and on par with the democratically-elected government in Israel. You're either very naive or you're doing something that is more dangerous and trying to get a platform in the United States Senate that could promote, I think, anti-American ideology. That's what I worry about.”

On Abdul’s Refusal to Condemn the IRCG:

“I mean, that should be disqualifying on every single level. You have a country that has killed U.S. Marines, U.S. troops in Iraq, maimed [and] taken limbs from folks. You have an organization — the Iranian terrorist group, the IRGC — who tried to plan an assassination in Washington D.C. Britain is saying it was the IRGC that attacked the U.S. air base there. To say that there's any comparison between a freely elected democracy — that by the way has Muslims in its Knesset and on its Supreme Court — versus the IRGC who is a theocracy [and] totalitarian regime that has often chanted ‘Death to America.’ If you can't make that simple determination, guess what? You should not be in the United States Senate.”
