ROGERS ANNOUNCES LAW ENFORCEMENT COALITION
WHITE LAKE, MI — Army veteran, former FBI street agent, and Trump-endorsed candidate for U.S. Senate Mike Rogers today announced the launch of his new coalition, “Law Enforcement for Mike Rogers.”
“Our law enforcement are heroes,” said Rogers. “Every day they wear that uniform, they put their lives on the line to keep us safe, answering our cries for help, removing violent criminals from the street, and stopping deadly drugs from flooding our neighborhoods. As a former federal law enforcement officer, I am proud to stand with our brave men and women in blue. And unlike my soft-on-crime opponents, in the Senate, I will have our law enforcement heroes’ backs — just as they have ours.”
The coalition is made up of brave law enforcement officers who patrol and protect our communities. The following volunteers will serve as leaders of the coalition. They are tasked with sharing Mike’s Michigan First, tough-on-crime message and activating law enforcement across the state:
Sheriff Matt Leirstein - Petoskey
Sheriff Kim Cole - Ludington
Rep. Brian BeGole - Antrim Township
Sheriff Chuck Heit - New Buffalo
Sheriff Mike Murphy - Howell
Ret. Exec. Lt. Dan Bozek - Warren
POAM President James Tignanelli - Washington
"Mike Rogers understands the challenges law enforcement faces daily: rising crime, open borders allowing drugs to flood our neighborhoods, and threats to our way of life. Mike has the experience and the backbone to help secure our borders, back our brave law enforcement agencies, and restore safety and prosperity to the great State of Michigan.”
— Sheriff Matt Leirstein, Petoskey
“Mike knows that wearing the badge comes with duty and sacrifice. He’s lived it. It’s time we have an ally in the Senate who will help crack down on crime, keep drugs and violent offenders off the streets, and support law enforcement. I’m proud to stand with Mike just as he has always stood with us.”
— Sheriff Chuck Heit, New Buffalo
