ROGERS: BIDEN MUST PROTECT OUR BORDERS

Right now, President Joe Biden is begging the U.S. Congress and taxpayers for more than $60 billion to fund the continuing war in Ukraine so it can defend its borders. All of this is happening as the president and his Democrat allies in Congress resist every single effort to secure our own borders.
Every day Americans are seeing the impact of the crisis at the border as thousands of illegal immigrants cross into our country unimpeded. Communities are being overrun as their budgets explode paying for additional law enforcement, education, housing and more, to care for migrants.
The impact is being felt in Michigan, as foreign criminal gangs conduct organized burglaries in usually peaceful communities. According to the Oakland County Sheriff, at least 30 home invasions by these gangs have taken place since September, using sophisticated technology to disable alarm systems and even interfere with police radios.
