Police Officers Association of Michigan Endorses Mike Rogers for U.S. Senate
“No candidate is a better friend to law enforcement or more committed to keeping Michigan families safe”
WHITE LAKE, MI — U.S. Senate Candidate Mike Rogers is glad to today announce that he has received the Police Officers Association of Michigan’s (“POAM”) complete and total endorsement. The State’s law enforcement heroes know that Mike Rogers is the law and order candidate and that he works toward a shared mission of keeping Michiganders safe. As a former federal law enforcement officer himself, Rogers also recognizes the great sacrifices law enforcement heroes make to patrol and protect Michigan communities—and he fully backs the blue.
“No candidate is a better friend to law enforcement or more committed to keeping Michigan families safe than Mike Rogers,” said POAM President James Tignanelli. “He has dedicated his life to service and understands the sacrifice. Mike will also be a fierce ally in our mission to make Michigan’s streets safer every day. The Police Officers Association of Michigan is all in for Mike Rogers.”
“Our law enforcement heroes work a tough job to keep us safe and deserve our support,” said Rogers. “From keeping deadly drugs out of our communities, to protecting victims, and locking up the bad guys, I will fight alongside our brave law enforcement to make each day safer than the last. I’m grateful for the Police Officers Association of Michigan’s full support.”
The Police Officers Association of Michigan’s endorsement builds on mounting support from county sheriffs across the state, including Hillsdale County Sheriff Scott Hodshire, Kalkaska County Sheriff Pat Whiteford, Livingston County Sheriff Mike Murphy, and Van Buren County Sheriff Dan Abbott.
