MIKE ROGERS ON FOX BUSINESS: WE DON’T WANT THIS SOCIALISM NONSENSE IN OUR STATE
DETROIT, MI – Army veteran, former FBI street agent, former House Intelligence Chair, and candidate for U.S. Senate Mike Rogers today joined Stuart Varney on Fox Business’ Varney & Co. to expose Conman Abdul El-Sayed and his alienation of Michigan voters.

On Conman Abdul El-Sayed’s Anti-American Platform:
“This guy is maybe the most anti-American candidate across the country today. You look at his hanging out with Hasan Piker, who believes that America deserved 9/11 — he wouldn't disavow it. This is the same guy who says he's a terrorist sympathizer to the Houthi terrorist organization. This is a guy that takes money from organizations tied to the Muslim Brotherhood. He would not condemn it. He would not condemn a terrorist in the name of Hezbollah that tried to blow up 140 schoolchildren right here in Michigan at a synagogue. This guy is anything but pro-American. And candidly, this guy says anything he needs to say.”
On Democrats for Mike Rogers:
“We have Democrats for Rogers. It is a big, growing organization. Down in the city of Detroit, we have a really robust Democrats for Rogers. They’re walking away from him because he’s too extreme. We have Jewish Democrats for Rogers. That's really exploding across the state.
He only says that because he knows he’s in trouble, and that we’re doing exceptionally well with traditional coalitions that might be Democrat. What they tell us: ‘We don’t want this socialism nonsense in our state, and this guy is too extreme.’”
On Kamala Harris’ Stumping for Abdul El-Sayed:
“Desperation. He's having a difficult time with African Americans across the state. We are actually moving in African American communities, both in Flint and Pontiac and Detroit. Again, they're not buying into this socialist kind of anti-American rhetoric that he has been talking about for the last 18 months.
So, they’re bringing somebody who caused the highest inflation rate in a generation back here to Michigan, raised our gas prices — not because of a conflict overseas, but because they wanted gas prices to go higher. They gave us the highest utility rates in the Midwest. You know, welcome. We'd love to have that conversation. That is exactly the contrast I think Michiganders need to hear.”
On How this is a Change Election in Michigan:
“…This is a change election in Michigan. You know, every state has its own issues. We've had a quarter century of two Democrats representing us in the Senate, and 10 years of Democrats in Lansing. And we have fallen in every metric from education, we're now 45th. We've lost 200,000 manufacturing jobs. Our utility rates [are the] highest in the Midwest. So we have a lot to talk about, and they were a big part of it. The Biden-Harris administration was a huge part of bringing all that trouble to our shores.”
