CRAZY VS. COMMON SENSE
“Do you want common-sense solutions for Michigan, or do you want crazy?”
WHITE LAKE, MI — As Mike Rogers campaigns across Michigan on his common-sense agenda of restoring jobs, making life more affordable, and keeping Michiganders safe, his three socialist opponents continue racing to the Left. They are more concerned with abolishing law enforcement agencies, sympathizing with terrorists, and raising taxes than delivering for working families.
There’s no mistaking it: this election comes down to crazy vs common sense.
MIKE DROP –
“Do you want common-sense solutions for Michigan, or do you want crazy? Do you want to protect our families, protect our freedom, protect our factories, or do you want crazy? I think people are starting to come to the conclusion that this guy is dangerous for the state. When you go down all the kind of crazy rhetoric, including he can’t even condemn the guy that loaded his car full of explosives and pulled into a synagogue to kill 130 children. He said ‘Well you can understand how somebody would do that.’ I’m sorry, no you can’t. So, I do believe that people are going to start coming home here to realize this is not who they want representing them in the United States Senate.”
“I don’t think [Abdul El-Sayed] connects with working families across our state, and we are a working class state. I’ve worked in an auto factory to pay for my college. I know these people. They are not that. I think that is going to spell trouble for the Democrats. He is just too radical. Now all three of them are trying to share their misery on all of Michiganders with their policies. So, what we’ve been doing is talking about things that are going to make a difference in people’s lives. We have a housing plan that doesn’t involve big government that’s going to get people into homes earlier. We’re going to fix the education literacy problem between 3rd and 4th grade. If you don’t read in the fourth grade by the fourth grade, you have a 70% chance of going to prison. We’re fixing all of that. So, we’re talking about things that matter in their lives.”
“Those Reagan Democrats are now Trump Republicans. They understand that the policies that have failed them, have made 40,000 manufacturing jobs leave the state, our median wages come down, we now have 20% higher electricity rates than the rest of the country, the Democrats actually raised the income tax this last go round so now we’re not even competitive with Ohio and Illinois. This is a change election. That’s why we’re doing well in a state that is confounding the Democrats. And the more radical he gets, you watch, his numbers are going to continue to go up.”
