COLLEGE STUDENTS: MIKE ROGERS WILL MAKE HOUSING AFFORDABLE AGAIN

WHITE LAKE, MI — Team Rogers today released a compilation of testimonials from Michigan college students who expressed support for Mike Rogers’ transformative housing affordability plan. Mike’s plan comes at a time when young people are being forced to leave the state because high housing costs and brutal bidding wars have made it nearly impossible for them to stay, plant roots, and raise a family in a home of their own. This plan aims to bring the American Dream of homeownership back into reach for young Michiganders.

Dayne Webb: Hi, I’m Dayne Webb.

Anna Dimovski: Hi, my name is Anna.

Ajay Khatiwala: My name is Ajay.

Alex Richmond: Hello, my name is Alex Richmond.

Kylo Scheffers: Hello, my name is Kylo Scheffers.

Braydon Zupin: Hello, my name is Braydon.

Jack Tapper: Hello, my name is Jack Tapper.

Dayne Webb: As a member of Gen-Z, housing and affordability is at the forefront of our minds in this next election. 

Kylo Scheffers: I’ve lived in Kalamazoo the majority of my life, and my family has been here for generations. And I would just love to stay here and live in Kalamazoo with them to be close to family, but the housing market right now is not great.

Ajay Khatiwala: Something I’m concerned about is the housing market.

Alex Richmond: I am extremely concerned with the ability for me to afford a home and to raise a family here. 

Anna Dimovski: I’ve always lived in Michigan, and it’s a big dream of mine to stay in the state close to family. And the only way to do that is for something to happen. So, this is why I endorse Mike Rogers.

Kylo Scheffers: I’ve always dreamed of one day owning a house–that being the American Dream. But I worry that, when I’m older, I’m unable to afford a house just because of how much these prices of houses have skyrocketed. 

Braydon Zupin: That’s why I’m for Mike Rogers because he wants to solve that problem for us young people. 

Dayne Webb: That’s why I support Mike Rogers for U.S. Senate.

Ajay Khatiwala: And that is why I support Mike Rogers for Senate. 

Alex Richmond: And that is why I’m voting for Mike Rogers. 

Kylo Scheffers: I think that Mike Rogers can get it done.
