HEALTHCARE THAT WORKS FOR WORKING FAMILIES
-
The Problem: Hospitals and insurance companies hide prices from patients because they don’t want you to comparison shop – which would drive prices down.
The Solution: If hospitals and insurance companies don’t publicly post real prices so patients know what they’re paying before they receive care - the executives should be held accountable. Fines should be imposed.
You deserve to know the price before you get the bill.

The Problem: Prescription drug prices are out of control. Drugs should not be more expensive in Michigan than they are in Canada.
The Solution: Expand access to Trump Rx, which takes advantage of the government’s ability to buy in bulk, force prices down, and pass those savings onto the consumer. We also need to speed up approval on lower cost generic options.

The Problem: Working families pay their premiums every month, only to face delays, denials, and endless paperwork when they need care.
The Solution: Force insurance companies to publicly report denial rates, approval times, and appeal outcomes. Companies with excessive denials or delays should face penalties. If you repeatedly deny care that should have been approved, there should be consequences.
